Find everything about how you can get a credential evaluation for the US Dental Schools.
Foreign Credential Evaluation
Many professions in the United States require you to get a license from the state board before you can start practicing in the field, and different licensing boards have their own education requirements.
Those who have completed their education outside the US and want to get a license need to have a Foreign Credential Evaluation.
It helps the institutions evaluate the students from different parts of the world and who have degrees from different countries on the same scale.
ECE - Education Credential Evaluation
If you are an International Trained Dentist who wants to practice in the United States, you must get a license from the state board. For this, you need to pass the INBDE Exam and get admission into a US Dental School.
One important part of this process is ECE which stands for Education Credential Evaluation.
Every foreign dentist or dental student has to get an evaluation report by the ECE, Education Credential Evaluation, which does all the foreign credential evaluations for Dentists.
All foreign-trained dentists need to get a course-by-course evaluation by the ECE before applying for the INBDE.
Candidates have to submit a few documents to ECE that may vary with every country.
Indian Dentists and Dental Students are required to submit the following documents for credential evaluation on the official ECE website.
- Standard XII (Grade 12) Certificate (or equivalent)
- Standard X (Grade 10) Certificate (or equivalent)
- Degree, Diploma, or Provisional Certificate confirming the earned qualification.
- Statements of Marks for all examination attempts or official Transcript:
- Internship Completion Certificate (if the internship was required for the qualification)
Email the required documents(depending on your country of education) to ECEMail@ece.org from a verifiable email address of your institution.
